In Studio Cold Process Soapmaking Workshop
Create and take home your very own plant based natural soaps featuring skin-loving ingredients like natural clays, dried botanicals and essential oils. Join us at Public Works Art Center in our studio in Summerville, SC where you'll receive hands-on instruction and leave with 3 full bars + 2 end pieces of soap. Because your soaps will need to harden, you'll need to return in 2-5 days to cut your soaps. Alternatively, we are more than happy to cut and ship your soaps to you if you'd like.
All materials are provided, but we ask that you wear close-toed shoes and clothing you don't care to get messy in just in case.
Due to the nature of caustic chemicals we will be working with, students must be at least 16 years or older to participate.
For cancellations made at least 48 hours (two days) in advance, we allow a full refund or reschedule to another date. Cancellations made less than 48 hours (two days) may either be rescheduled to another date or be issued a store credit for the amount of the class fee, minus any processing fees. Private workshops have up until two weeks before scheduled workshops for cancellations. If you or any member of your group will be more than 15 minutes late, we kindly ask that you reschedule for another workshop date. No shows will receive no refund or store credit.

Our Nourshing Ingredients
Our formulas are packed with quality, skin-loving blends of plant based oils and butters that create rich, luxurious lathers and leaves the skin feeling moisturized.
Our Soap Base Formula
Castor Oil is known for its strong purging and detoxing properties. Effective for skin with acne as it helps increase cell turnover.
Coconut Oil is high in fatty acids including vitamin E, which protects the skin from oxidative damage and offers a rich moisturising feel.
Olive Oil reduces the signs of ageing due to its antioxidant properties. It leaves the skin hydrated and moisturised.
Palm Oil is a fat rich oil - helps to trap moisture within the skin, reducing moisture loss from your skin to the environment.
Shea Butter is a rich and nourishing moisturiser which reduces the appearance of fine lines and leaves the skin silky smooth.
Glycerine is naturally occurring during saponification. Helps to protect the skin from environmental sources of irritation and makes dry skin feel amazingly soft and supple.

Directions & Care
To use your natural soap bar, rub your soap against your palms under warm water to work up a lather. Sing your favorite songs loudly as you wash your entire body (you can even wash your hair with our bars) and once you're done giving the concert of a lifetime and you're all done, rinse until next time!
Want your bars to last longer? Allow it to dry out completely before the next use. Our accessories are the perfect additions to keep your bars at their best.
