You Go Girl Brunch

  • Inspired By Annette Event Planning (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

'You Go Girl' was created to recognize and celebrate women entrepreneurs who are constantly grinding to ensure that they are providing the best services possible to their customers. Entrepreneurs don't always get the support or recognition that they deserve, so we have decided to change that and place the spotlight on you and your business as our way of saying thank you for all that you are doing, have done and will do. Your accomplishments are important to us.

This event is not just a celebration, but also an opportunity to network and expose local businesses to the local people. This will be the first of many events to come and we are honored that you have decided to be apart of this journey towards women empowerment, improvement and business growth.

It takes a village!

SC Black Farmers Conference

The SC Black Farmers Conference is an interactive one-day program that brings experts from across the country to South Carolina to explore the rich contributions Africans and African-Americans have made to modern agriculture and the opportunities that exist for active and new farmers. Our goal is to strengthen South Carolina’s capacity to build and maintain profitable farm models for small and socially disadvantaged black farmers across the state. New, budding and established farmers will benefit from engaging with successful farm/food access programs from around the country and networking with other black led initiatives in South Carolina.

Guests will park their cars at FFF in the morning and board charter buses (or use rideshare services) to go to the historic SC Society Hall at 72 Meeting St, Charleston, SC 29401. After a morning filled with restorative music and yoga, history of black ag in SC, networking and a keynote presentation from Leah Penniman (Soul Fire Farm, Farming While Black author), and wrap the day with a catered Lowcountry Seafood Lunch prepared by Chef BJ Dennis and Chef DelJuan Murphy.
